High-School Ministry

A Welcome to parents

Welcome to Xtreme High-School Ministry!

Dear Xtreme Parent:

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in Xtreme!  Xtreme is a high-school ministry of Avenue Road Baptist Church.  It is our goal to provide a safe and relevant place for high-school students to build positive relationships with peers and adults as well as exploring some of the BIG questions in life.

Xtreme takes place on Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.  Visitors are always welcome!  The evening includes a variety of exciting activities like group games, contests, a tuck-shop, small-group discussion, and sharing about the week.

From time to time, students are also invited to participate in special events like trips to Wonderland, and weekend retreats.  At Xtreme, we are fortunate to have an incredible team of volunteers who help to make each student's experience a positive one.  Our volunteer team and I would enjoy the opportunity to meet you in person.  Please feel free to introduce yourself one night when you're picking up your son or daughter.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding Xtreme, please don't hesitate to contact me at (519) 621-4391, or email me at:  pastorchris@rogers.com

We're looking forward to a fantastic year together!

"The Bible makes abundantly clear, again and again ... that God uses the most messed-up, flawed, not-good-enough
people to do His will ... , because messed-up, flawed, not-good-enough people are all He has to choose from."
